Besides writing and directing, Rob composes the music for each of his films, and on "Silk," also supervised the elaborate visual effects sequences. The film, which also utilizes practical spider puppets as well as real tarantulas, has already gained notoriety in horror circles for its shocking use of nudity and gore.
