Whilst studying a BA in Film and Screen Media at Griffith Film School, Isabel became the first student to have two graduate films selected to represent the university at Cannes Film Festival in 2015. Upon graduation, she has spent the last few years pursuing as many opportunities in the industry as possible, working freelance in both Brisbane and Sydney.
Aside from full-time work, Isabel’s graduate documentary, Gokanosho - Lost In Time, has enjoyed a successful film festival run and premiered on ABC iView whilst her current web series, ‘Two Weeks’, has just scored Best Web Series & Best Student Series at Long Beach Indie International FF and Melbourne WebFest respectively.
Isabel is tall and loud, and will judge if you can’t drive a manual. She loves good wine, haloumi, and will melt into a puddle at the sight of a puppy.
Stephanie’s passion for storytelling threw her into the realm of filmmaking from a young age. She found a real appetite for writing and directing during her BA in Film and Screen Media at Griffith Film School. She has recently completed two short films and is getting ready to send them into the film festival land.
Aside from Writing and Directing, Stephanie has been working full time as an Editor in one of Australia’s most renowned VFX companies. She continues to expand her knowledge of postproduction and loves bringing those skills back into her own storytelling.
