Yasmine and Michael are filmmakers based in St. Johns, NL whose journey into film started through their work as ecologists. While researching snowshoe hares and Canada lynx at a remote cabin in the Yukon, they were involved in multiple wildlife documentaries that spurred an interest. Since then, they were selected to participate in the PEI Screenwriters Bootcamp, The Stowe Story lab, and received the Jane Leblanc NL Creative award. Their short films have played at national and international film festivals, and they are currently developing the Telefilm funded feature documentary INVASIVORE.
