Synopsis
In 1915 Texas, it is a time of turmoil as Mexican ranchers have mysteriously gone missing. Rumors swirl a dark plague is spreading across the land and demons are responsible for killing the ranchers. A father and his teenage daughter live in constant fear on one of the only ranches left. After her father goes missing, the young girl must use all the skills he taught her and fight for her life. A night she may not survive.

Marcella Ochoa is an award-winning writer/director. She recently wrote and directed the Western horror short, HOUR OF BLOOD, for which she received Best Short Film nominations for Imagen Awards and Humanitas Prizes. She wrote and directed the short thriller, WORRY DOLLS, and received a Best Short Film Imagen Award nomination. She also wrote and directed a short on the Americanization of Mexicans, MY NAME IS MARIA DE JESUS, that premiered on HBO. She co-wrote a social justice thriller, MADRES, for Blumhouse that premiered on Amazon and received an NAACP Image Award Nomination for Outstanding Writing in a TV movie. She has written feature films for various studios including Paramount, New Line, and Universal. Read less
