Aimee Kuge is a true lover of horror, storytelling, and creating art that explores the complexities of the human experience. Aimee's credits include the production team for The Last Drive-in with Joe Bob Briggs, Story Producer for MTV’s Teen Mom, and Director/Writer of Cannibal Mukbang. She has a BFA in Filmmaking and a BA in Studio Art from The University of Colorado at Boulder. She's based in Brooklyn, NY.
CANNIBAL MUKBANG is Aimee's debut feature film. She wrote the script while experiencing a period of disordered eating and ending toxic relationships. This disordered eating led Aimee down a mukbang rabbit hole.
The film explores our relationships with food, sexuality, and revenge. It asks, "How far would you go in the name of love?"
Cannibal Mukbang is a female-driven story directed, written, produced, and edited by women. Production took place in New York, New Jersey, and Florida with a small crew of indie filmmakers. A portion of the footage was shot on 8mm film. Read less
