Paul is a recent Masters graduate of Film and Television at the Victorian College of the Arts VCA, Melbourne Australia. He has a passion for genre filmmaking and has written and directed numerous short screenplays in horror, comedy, and drama. When writing horror, Paul infuses his stories with compassion and meaning. He confronts his characters with their worst fears to reveal the underlying beauty and tenderness of people who care deeply for one another.

Anniversary is a suburban, gothic horror, with a focus on narrative drama. Anniversary explores themes of grief and loss through a horror lens. Disbelief at the confirmation of an afterlife, soon gives way to terror and tragedy. I've always been drawn to campfire tales, chilling stories told in candle light, because for me, horror comes from the imagination and what lurks in the shadows watching us.
