Mikael Håfström was born on July 1, 1960 in Lund, Skåne län, Sweden. He is a writer and director, known for Evil (2003), Derailed (2005) w/Jennifer Aniston & Clive Owen , 1408 (2007) starring John Cusack, and The Rite (2011) among other films. His film Drowning Ghost had its US Premiere at the 2004 Screamfest Horror Film Festival.
