In the words of Shane,'It ain't where I"m from, it"s where I"m at.' Since arriving in Vancouver three years ago, Shane has tinkered in almost every department within the film industry. He believes it's important to know everyone's job in order to better communicate with them and help bring out their strongest work. He first worked with Jon to produce Send Us Smokes, a WW1 musical/dramatic short, and they have since co-founded Skinner Street as a way to showcase their love for story and genre filmmaking. Their first true collaboration was The Desolation Prize, a haunting short film inspired by Gothic Horror written and directed by Shane with Jon leading the charge as Producer. What's next for the Skinner Street team? They are currently developing an ambitious superhero short entitled Kid Courage. Jon will be in the director"s chair with Shane in the role as his producer.
