Niels Bourgonje (1980) is an award winning short film and commercial director based in Amsterdam. He graduated with the short thriller BURN, which was selected for several international filmfestivals winning numerous awards. In 2014 Niels directed PEACE AND QUIET, winning the 48 Hour Film Project. In 2015 he made BUDDY, which was selected for 60 filmfestivals, including Palm Springs ShortFest. In 2018 Niels directed TURN IT AROUND, BRIDGE and SKOGAFOSS. SKOGAFOSS has won 20 awards so far. His latest film SWIPE was selected for the Golden Calf competition at the Dutch Film Festival.
