Mia Sorensen started her career at The Daily Show and since then she has directed, edited, and produced commercials for clients such as Sony, Mercedes, Lionsgate, Disney, and Nickelodeon. In documentary, she was a member of President Obama's digital team and worked on series such as Years of Living Dangerously (Showtime), Death Row Stories (CNN), Weediquette (Vice), and New Jim Crow (Aspireist/USA). Recently, she was in the Amazon documenting the Mebêngôkre people for a short film about deforestation narrated by Alec Baldwin and Dr. Jane Goodall.
