Maazin Kamal was born and raised in Pakistan and completed his BFA in Cinema Studies at York University in Toronto. In 2013, he graduated with an MFA in Screenwriting from the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. Maazin's thesis screenplay, BURAQ, advanced to the semi-finals of the Academy Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting and was short-listed for the Disney Features Writers Program. He is based in Karachi, Pakistan. BOBO is his third short film as a director. Munis Rashid grew up in Houston, Texas and graduated from the University of Texas with a BBA in Finance and a BS in Radio-Television-Film. He graduated with an MFA in Screenwriting at the American Film Institute in 2016. His teleplays THE JACKAL, RHODES, and POPPY were nominated for the Humanitas Student Drama Fellowship in 2013, 2014, and 2016, respectively. BOBO is his first short film as a director.
