Lynda D’Alexis is a filmmaker from Guadeloupe (French West Indies), known for her bold and socially engaged storytelling. After studying sound engineering and film in France, she directed L’EMPRISE and RICO, two award-winning short films. With over a decade of experience on international productions like the BBC’s Death in Paradise, she now develops her own fiction projects blending thriller and social drama. Her latest short film, Night Shift, premiered at the Prix de Court festival in Guadeloupe, where it won Best Emerging Talent, marking the start of a promising journey on the festival scene.
