Luis Utges was born in Madrid (Spain) in 1979 and studied at the prestigious school of Cinema of San Antonio de Los Baños (Cuba) where he studied screenplay and direction. He continued his studies at the Ecam School of Cinema of reference in Spain. During which he began to make his first short films. He collaborated on the web series: 'Bloody justice', as scriptwriter and cameraman, awarded in Baja and Miami webfest in 2014. Later he made his first foray into festivals with: 'Mi Esencia', a short film tribute to Alfred Hitchcock., in the Mombasa Gin Festival. ?Redención? is second short film in competition in festivals, being Screamfest first world presentation.
