José Casas Arévalo (Linares, 1984), better known as Cookie from the Far West, is an actor, producer and director. He trained in theater and began making short films since he was a teenager. In 2012, with just 4,000 euros, he undertook the production of his first feature film Zombie World, The Movie, based on the short film of the same name also produced and starring him, and which He became the opening act for the movie Astro Zombies 4 in the US. Since 2015, his work as a producer and director has been awarded in cities such as Barcelona and New York. He has won fifteen awards and dozens of nominations to date and is currently dedicated to the production of fiction projects or video clips, including some for bands. from the province such as Uniforms, Dirty Dogs, Anagram Rock or Atomic Lemons.
