Jacquelyn Ferguson is an actor and award-winning filmmaker, having received “Best Thriller Short” at the 2020 Independent Shorts Awards International Film Festival, honorable mention at the 2020 Hollywood HorrorFest, and official selection at the 2020 GrimmFest: Manchester’s Festival of Fantastic Films for Reflected, which she wrote, starred in, and directed. Jacquelyn graduated Cum Laude from Pepperdine University. Her new film is inspired by the origins of trick-or-treating and influenced by Jacquelyn's love for Gothic noir films of the 1940s. The history of this beloved celebration remains murky, and "Souling" offers a unique perspective on this ancient, Pagan practice.
