HENRY EVANS is a British writer born and raised on a farm in southwest London. As the first person in his family to finish high school, he went on to graduate with honors from Columbia University with an MFA in Screenwriting and Directing and a concentration in TV writing. Before his Columbia MFA he had acted for the National Youth Theater of Great Britain, trained as an underwater videographer in Thailand, and gained a huge amount of experience as a production assistant on films including Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and Guardians of the Galaxy. He has illustrated a scene for Amazon"s The New Yorker Presents and his pilot BEYOND THE DROP won the Best Drama Teleplay award at the Columbia University Film Festival and has been shortlisted in multiple screenwriting competitions, reaching the quarter and semi-finals of the Slamdance Screenplay Competition and the Screencraft Pilot Launch Contest. His student short SHE FORGIVES has so far made it to the official selection for the Golden Door Film Festival and Screamfest. He is currently living is L.A. and recently found representation at Writ Large.
