Elias Hinojosa; Culture Vulture. Queer Latino. Born along the border at the southernmost tip of Texas. A Gemini raised by a single-mom Leo. As a child, Elias grew up an old soul. He bore witness to domestic violence, incarceration and addiction's aftermath. In school, he braved bullies of all ages, yet consistently stood firm forth his shadow... courageous in his curious creative convictions. Today, Elias relentlessly chases his inner-child with boundless passion. He finds purpose in showcasing the disenfranchised and gives characters the freedom to fly without shame. He is an award-winning director whose debut 'Lullaby' was showcased at the UT Student Showcase at SXSW 2018. His work can also be seen in the form of brand-films. Also an actor and on-stage personality, Elias hosts pageants for the Miss Universe Organization. He has rubbed shoulders academically and professionally with the likes of Matthew McConaughey, Robert Rodriguez and John Waters. Elias Hinojosa is an evolving multi-hyphenate creative juggernaut with plenty of tales to tell.
