Edoardo Ranaboldo is an Italian born, New York City raised, writer and director. He attended the Bronx High School of Science before studying film at Tulane University and at the Film and Television School of the Performing Arts in Prague. A frequent collaborator of the popular pop group AJR, Edoardo has directed twelve official music videos for the group, as well as videos for notable artists such as All Time Low, Daisy the Great, Ripe, and Felukah, garnering over 100 million views on YouTube. His animated video, “Maybe Man” was in competition in festivals around the world, including the Ottawa International Animation Festival, Aesthetica Short Film Festival, and the Berlin Music Video Awards. He has also written two feature films and written/directed eight short films. His 2022 film, Anywhere, was selected for numerous festivals, including the 2023 Dumbo Film Festival, Bushwick Film Festival, and Big Apple Film Festival. His films use genre and bold visuals to explore the nature of identity and the power of the medium itself.
