Dan Jagels Born and raised in Pasadena, California, Dan has been passionate about film since a young age. He began acting in theatre productions at the age of 10 and his enthusiasm for acting later brought on his desire for filmmaking. In high school, Dan began producing and directing his own films and enrolled in the New York Film Academy. He won a film contest scholarship and later graduated from the Film Production Program at Cal State Northridge. In his professional career, Dan works in many parts of film production, but mainly focuses on Directing and Cinematography. During college, Dan worked on a few projects for the horror film production company Ghost House Pictures and immediately fell in love with the genre. He then directed his first horror short, titled "Nightmares", which received praised reviews and distribution. Since then, Dan has worked for a variety of production companies, shooting projects for a wide range of media platforms, but still holds a strong passion for the horror genre. Dan's most recent horror short, "Thirteen", an H2 Crew Production, is an Official Selection of the 2013 ScreamFEST Horror Film Festival, the Fright Night Horror Film Festival and the San Diego Film Festival.
