Alberto Ordaz, 32 years old, was born in the city of Cordoba Veracruz. He moves with his family to the city of Puebla. He has a Psychology major from the Autonomous University of Puebla (BUAP) and also has a Major in Criminology, Criminalistics and Forensic Techniques from the Free School of University Studies (CLEU). He took the courses "Digital Cinematography" (2012), "Photography in film" (2012) and the workshop " experimental cinema "(2012), all taught in" F64 Audiovisual Training Center ". He worked for two years in the Forensic Medical Service as the Forensic body opener. The short film "The Old Man" is his first film production, which was presented at the "International Film Festival of Puebla" in the city of Puebla (2012) and was selected to be screened at the "Short Film Corner" in the city of Cannes, France, as part of the International Cannes film Festival, from 15 to 24 May (2013). In 2014 was accepted to be part of "Taller Cinematografico Mantarraya," directed by Jaime Romandia and Carlos Reygadas. As a final thesis of this workshop, makes the science fiction short film "HHL" (2016) who was in competition in few film festivals around the world, like sitges, morbido (winning best shortfilm), and screamfest too. Now a days, he takes part of the audiovisual production "Feroz Carmesí" and promoting his new short film "Phaenicia"
