Synopsis
n the midst of a zombie apocalypse, two people wait for one to become a monster.
Jake’s been infected and doesn’t want to turn into a zombie so he’s asked his ex-wife, Margo, to kill but not until just the right moment.
While they wait for the heartbreaking inevitable, they rehash old grievances, reminisce about the love they shared, and worry for their kids.
As the terror is literally at the door, Jake and Margo have a final tender moment that threatens to her last instead of his.

In 1997, Ben joined the 5-person team to make The Blair Witch Project as production designer and fabricated much of the legend of The Blair Witch. He later wrote Curse of The Blair Witch, wrote and directed The Burkittsville 7 for Showtime, and Shadow of The Blair Witch for Syfy. In 2004, Ben formed Visible Man Productions and for 9 years the company created branded content, found footage, fake commercials, subversive advertising, and webisodes for a variety of entertainment projects. In 2009, he directed the critically-acclaimed sci-fi/horror film Alien Raiders for Warner Brothers. In 2016, Ben directed Future Boyfriend, a sci-fi romantic comedy that was an official selection at Tribeca Film Festival. Ben has directed numerous plays, including Baal by Bertoldt Brecht, Richard III by William Shakespeare, and served for 2 seasons as co-artistic director for The Sacred Fools Theater Company in Hollywood. Most recently, he directed a second season of the award-winning horror/comedy web series, 20 Seconds to Live, an acclaimed 10-part horror fiction podcast called Video Palace, and an 8-part horror audio drama for Audible called Catchers. What I love about UNTIL THE END is that it’s a zombie story told in a way I've never seen it done. It goes deep — moving, sad, funny, and ultimately violently badass.
It’s the perfect short film in that it’s contained and character-driven but builds around a big, awful choice and all the emotions that spill out of that. Spite, humor, love, affection, fear, and death.
