Director, writer, and actor Jake Rubin is graduate of the NYU Tisch School of the Arts where he studied theater at the Atlantic Acting School and minored in Entertainment Business. As a self-identified nerd from the Midwest with a passion for film and TV, Jake Rubin has been working in NYC on both sides of the camera, and occasionally the stage, for the last decade and a half. From performing in immersive, site-specific circus theater in Brooklyn to producing polished sports advertisements all over the tri-state area, Jake has a wide breadth of experience in entertainment. He founded Foolish Gentlemen Films in 2013 to create his surreal rom-com, mini-series "The Fantastic Adventures of Foolish Gentlemen" and is currently working with Co-Director Evan Metzold to get their next self-scripted feature off the ground; a dark golf comedy set in the swamplands of Florida.
