Fascinated by the weird and bizarre, Summer developed her craft for character creation and storytelling at Florida State University’s College of Motion Picture Arts where she received a Bachelor’s degree in animation and digital arts. As a doll collector, Summer finds it easy to project personality onto the inanimate. Although her roots are in stop motion, it’s CG animation where she found she could fully bring her worlds to life. Summer is currently a virtual production intern at Florida State University’s Torchlight stage, where she is creating 3D assets, optimizing Unreal environments for virtual production use, and helping other filmmakers bring their visions to life on the virtual production stage.
