Synopsis
Computer programmer Donald (Ian Gary) is a man on a deadline, grappling with sanity...and a roommate that spends a little too much time with his blender. When Donald's cohabitant Mickey (Ekon Soong) and his girlfriend, Jessica (Tatiana Paris), go overboard with their smoothie-making as part of their prep for Burning Man, Donald is pushed to the brink. Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's “The Tell-Tale Heart,†we see Donald's professional success ultimately reveals his horrific actions.

Stephen Steelman is a director, editor, and producer known for his work as a music video director, having worked most recently on the videos for 'Everyone'and 'Basic Needs'from Korn's Jonathan Davis.
Steelman was born in Las Vegas, NV, and moved to Los Angeles in 2006 to work as an actor. His film and commercial work helped him earn entry into SAG, but he eventually realized his calling was to work behind the camera. An internship with Marty Katz Productions ('Reindeer Games,' 'Mr. Wrong'and with popular improv group Mission IMPROVable introduced him to a different side of the industry, and he soon began his work as a music video director for up and coming artists including 'Westfield Massacre'setting the stage for his work with Davis.
Steelman's reputation as a collaborative creator opened the doors for his next opportunity, creating visual content for live shows, with his first project for System of a Down's 2017 Summer World Tour. Since then he has created visual content and toured the world with artists including Kacey Musgraves, Jennifer Lopez, Gwen Stefani, Seven Lions, Deftones, Misfits, and Rise Against.
With his love for learning and exploring new technology in filmmaking, Steelman began creating shorts for VR, including 'A Challenge'and 'Racing for Pinks,'with the latter being accepted into Inception VR Fest and chosen as an official selection at the 2018 Hollyshorts Film Festival.
His most recent work is on the short film, 'Juiced,'about a roommate pushed to the brink who goes where many cohabitants have wanted to go before. Starring Ian Gary 'Top Gun: Maverick'as Donald, a computer programmer whose success at work comes full circle, forcing him to face his horrific act.
Steelman is the founder of Brigantine Films and currently resides in Los Angeles.
