Xia Magnus is an award-winning writer, producer, and director. His music videos have been featured by Dazed, American Songwriter, and Paper Magazine, as well as screened at Contemporary Arts Center of New Orleans. His short films have been programmed on Public Television and screened at numerous festivals worldwide, including Hunter which was an official selection of the 2017 Austin Film Festival. Xia’s first feature, Sanzaru, was selected to participate in the IFP Completion Lab, U.S. in Progress at the Champs-Élysées Film Festival, and the Torino Film Lab Extended program. Sanzaru premiered at Slamdance 2020. He splits his time between New York and Los Angeles. Read less
