Selected as one of three films funded annually by the Peter Stark Producing Program, Hunger culled talent from across departments in the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Co-Producer Giles Clarke proved his worth early in development with the shrewd observation: "In thrillers, the monster dies at the end. In horror films, the monster lives." So we hired him. And the rest was history (as yet to be written). Veteran producers Larry Turman (American History X, The Graduate) and Richard Shepherd (Breakfast at Tiffany's, Volunteers) mentored the project's development, and an insanely dedicated crew along with a generous camera package from Panavision made it a reality.
