Caroline Coutts was born in Wick, Scotland and moved to Canada with her family when she was three years old. She is a graduate of the Directors' Lab at the Canadian Film Centre in Toronto and has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of British Columbia. Caroline's previous short films include "DogBoy," the story of a feral boy raised by dogs in an anonymous city, "The Lonely Passion of Petar the Pig Farmer," a surreal Wagnerian fable about a lonely man and his search for the perfect mate and "The Beast of Dulle Griet," about a 16th century underground village terrorized by a faceless menace.
