Synopsis
Somewhere, in the middle of nowhere a couple is looking for a room to spend the night. The guests are rather weird. Their hosts are very tempted by the black suitcase. Something of tremendous powers is to be unleashed upon this world.

Peter Czikrai - born on 12th May 1981 in Bratislava, attained bachelor degree in Animation and being graduated in Film and Television Direction from Academy of Perfoming Arts. Peter is a big fan of horror scenes and exploitation genre. He has been dedicated to animation film for nine years, makes advertising storyboards and writes headlines for TV trailers. The Good night is the director’s debut work within horror genre. He set to cover the costs of the whole production himself which, as he admitted, brought about a few obstacles, however priceless experiences in the end. For all participants – from composers to actors – recasting the screenplay into gripping visual form came as real trial for each of them. Being sealed into sturdy masks lend role players not only peculiar appearance but was probably the hardest part of their performance. However, based on that, they all showed strong determination. In some cases, making-up visual identity of the heroins took nearly 7 hours before shooting proceeded. Ironically, shooting gory scenes was sometimes hilarious session – blood spread out on the whole set. And, however, far from being cheery, shooting climax of plot was labour of Hercules. Read less
