Synopsis
Desperate for a job, Naya lucked out as her best friend offers her a job as a housekeeper at a 5 star hotel by the beach. But the hotel has one strange rule… Rule #1: Never ever open room number 308 under any circumstance. Based on the true legend of Nyi Roro Kidul, the spirit of the Queen of the South Sea that supposedly lives in room 308 in Samudra Hotel.

Started as music video director and helmed more than 200 music videos for most major Indonesian recording company such as Sony Music, BMG, Warner. Jose then made the horror movie titled “Jelangkung” (English: “Uninvited”) which was released in 2001 and became an unprecedented big hit in the Indonesian box office. Continuing his belief that all horror movie needs to be based on Indonesian urban legend, Jose then made the horror movie titled “Rumah Kentang” which became the no 1 highest grossing horror movie in Indonesia for 2012. In 2013, Jose decided to make the most famous Indonesian urban legend which many have tried but failed. Based on the true legend of Nyi Roro Kidul, the spirit of the Queen of the South Sea that supposedly lives in room 308 in Samudra Hotel, Jose along with producer Rocky Soraya (whom he also collaborated with in Rumah Kentang) made “308” which again became the no 1 highest grossing horror movie in Indonesia for 2013.
