Synopsis
Anxious to explore the mysterious hidden world under metropolitan Berlin, an international group of four urban explorers hires a local guide, Kris, who leads them into the maze of escape tunnels and subterranean fortifications under the city. When their guide has a bad fall, two of the girls in the group frantically set off to seek help while Denis, the young American, stays behind. Armin, a former East German border guard suddenly appears from nowhere. Out of sheer desperation, Denis allows Armin to lead them and their unconscious guide to safety and it is at this moment that Denis realizes he has just made the biggest mistake of his life!

Andy Fetscher is a German-Romanian director, writer and cinematographer. In his teenage years he shot his first movies as PR stunts for a satirical magazine that he published with friends. At the age of 19 he worked as a freelance photographer and journalist for several picture agencies in Germany. From 2001 to 2007 he studied cinematography and directing at the Ludwigsburg Film Academy, where he began to make a name for himself with a number of short movies such as "Peste la Bucuresti" (2004) and "Kingsdom of the Youth" (2005). In most of his pictures, in addition to directing, he has taken on multiple production roles including camera work, editing, and sound design. He graduated film school with his first full length horror feature "Bucharest Flesh" which has been invited to numerous festivals, including Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival and Germany's highly acclaimed Hofer Filmtage. The Berlin-style horror thriller "Urban Explorer" was his first co-production with America and has been praised by Variety as "Maximum impact and a balance of craft and patience"... Read less
