Severin Eskeland was born on Stord, a little island on the west coast of Norway. He started to make home movies from the age of 12, this mainly horror films as a result of ""Friday the 13th: The final chapter"" that made him sleepless for a long time.
After working as a plumber for a couple of years his interest for making film grew, and he started film-school in 2001 in Oslo. During the next four years of studying he also acted in two feature films. ""United"" and ""Svein og rotta"".
