Judge’s Non-Disclosure Agreement

This Non-Disclosure Agreement (“NDA”) is made effective as of April 8, 2025 (“Effective Date”), by and between Screamfest Horror Film Festival (“Screamfest”), and (“Judge”), as a film judge of the 2025 Screamfest Horror Film Festival and Screenplay Competition (the “Competition”).

1. Purpose. Screamfest has disclosed certain confidential information to the Judge for the sole purpose of evaluating films in the Competition. Now, therefore, in consideration of Screamfest making such confidential information available for the purposes of the Competition, the Judge hereby agrees as follows:

2. Confidential Information. “Confidential Information” means any information disclosed by Screamfest, directly or indirectly, in writing, orally or by way of entry materials (Screamfest Competition - Screamfest brief and brand guide, film entries, etc.).

3. Non-Disclosure. Judge agrees not to use, write, or discuss Screamfest’s confidential Information outside of the Judging session to media representatives, blogs, colleagues, etc. without consent from Screamfest. Judge also agrees to not copy or share screener links. If Judge is a member of the media and wishes to write a review of the film, the Judge agrees to do so after the film has screened in the Festival but not prior.

 4. Maintenance of Confidentiality. Judge will take reasonable measures to protect secrecy of and avoid disclosure and unauthorized use of Screamfest’s confidential Information. The client brief should only be discussed with members of the jury.

5. Intellectual Property. All branding elements (images, logos, fonts, brand and style guidelines, etc.) provided by Screamfest, are for competition use only. Judge will not have or acquire any right to copy, reproduce, publish or use such Screamfest Intellectual Property without permission.

I, Judge, confirm that I currently am: 1.) not employed by any festival that is a direct competitor of Screamfest nor 2) do I work directly on any brands that are considered Screamfest’s competitors .

I, Judge, agree not to copy or distribute any of the files that have been provided access to without express consent from Screamfest.
