Tobe wrote, directed and produced THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (1974) and POLTERGEIST produced by Stephen Spielberg. He directed THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2 in 1986 and DJINN released in 2013. Tobe was honored with many awards for his films and achievement in the horror genre and is truly one of the Masters of Horror. Sadly, Tobe passed away August 2017.
I don't believe in using too much graphic violence, although I've done it. It's better to be suggestive and to allow the viewer to fill in the blanks in their minds.
