Stacy Haiduk & Sophia Tatum are a real life mother/daughter duo. Brand New Cadillac is their directorial debut. STACY: My daughter, Sophia and I, have been in this industry as actors for while now and I’ve always wanted to work with her. And the only way I could get Sophia to do a movie with me is if it had blood. Lots of blood. SOPHIA: I've always had a love for horror. I feel like with horror especially, there are no rules when it comes to passionate story telling. It all has a heightened sense of reality that gives the filmmaker a much broader canvas. Or maybe I need to be medicated. (Sophia says jokingly!) STACY: This is an exciting time for women in film. And getting to work with my daughter and vice versa is something very dear to our hearts. It has led to a deep emotional bond and intensity that we couldn’t get anywhere else. One of the tags we are playing with for the feature film is “ It’s in the blood.” And I think that pretty much sums it up.
