Rosie Geozalian is a Los Angeles-born and raised artist and filmmaker. She studied creative direction at Art Center College of Design, where she received a student Emmy and went on to work on brands such as Instagram, MasterClass, and Apple TV+. Combining her background in music and theater, she creates imagery, films, and music videos that explore mixed-media live-action and stop-motion animation worlds. The latest is "Mud on My Shoes". The stop-motion short film is an adaptation of a childhood nightmare based on the poem of the same name from author Count D.’s book "All My Friends Are Creeps" and narrated by horror legend Doug Bradley (Hellraiser). The short combines the worlds of practical miniature sets and poetry to submerge viewers in a visceral retelling of a boy navigating his fears in a surreal dreamscape.
