Writer/Director Peter Klausner grew up in Los Angeles. A visual artist at heart, Peter was seldom without his sketchpad, drawing what caught his eye, especially the work of Van Gogh and Picasso. Peter saw every movie he could and was happiest fooling around with camcorders making short movies. A big influence was his grandfather Milt, a natural raconteur who showed Peter the power of storytelling, relating his own experiences growing up and living through the Great Depression and World War II. Peter’s production company ISOTRE (short for In Search of Treasure) was named after one of Milt’s favorite movies, The Treasure of Sierra Madre. Peter escaped Los Angeles for college, attending the film program at Emerson College in Boston. When Peter's girlfriend introduced him to horror films, Peter was soon obsessed. The pandemic was like a graduate school in the genre, as Peter watched and studied hundreds of horror films. Peter wrote script coverage, scripts for horror YouTube channels, and editorials for horror websites. To Peter, horror feels like the most personal form of writing. It challenges him to confront his own fears and anxieties in his storytelling. Stomach It is Peter’s first horror movie, and he is busy writing horror features that he hopes to direct.
