Nick Kozakis is an ARIA Award-winning director Visible Studios, known for helming high-impact projects with some of Australia’s most talented creatives. Backed by four ARIA nominations, a 2024 ARIA win, an ADG nomination, and three AACTA award nominations, Nick has quickly established himself as one of the most exciting and promising talents in the film industry, with a distinct knack for building cinematic tension and suspense. Nick is currently in pre-production on the highly anticipated Sooshi Mango feature film, Off the Boat, funded by Screen Australia with Village Roadshow attached as the theatrical distribution partner. This follows the recent wrap of his upcoming action-horror feature, Kick On. Currently in post-production, Kick On is slated for a theatrical release through Umbrella Entertainment, with Blue Finch Films handling global sales. Previously, Nick directed the psychological thriller Godless: The Eastfield Exorcism. Acquired by XYZ Films for North American distribution and represented globally by The Coven, Godless went on to screen at numerous prestigious international festivals, including MIFF and Sitges, where it won the coveted People’s Choice Award for Best Film. Beyond his feature work, Nick’s extensive portfolio includes a diverse slate of commercial and narrative content, including the international phenomenon music video for Tones and I’s Dance Monkey, which stands as one of the highest-viewed music videos of all time with over 2.3 billion views on YouTube. DIRECTOR’S

STATEMENT When the lights drop and the bass slams through the speakers, you’re not just watching a movie, you’re stepping into the craziest, most unhinged night of your life. KICK ON doesn’t ease you in. It drags you by the throat straight into a neon, blood-soaked fever dream where every second feels like the drugs just kicked in and the floor is about to drop out from under you.
