Michael Kirshner is a writer, director, cinematographer, and editor based in NYC. Originally from Los Angeles, he moved to New York to study at NYU and ultimately found a home there as a multifaceted filmmaker focused on creating thought-provoking stories that blend humor, surrealism, horror, and the absurd to explore aspects of the human experience and the many oddities that life throws at us. As an artist, he's interested in exploring the shadowy realms of horror, surrealism, and dark comedy. His work has been recognized at New York Flash Film Fest, NewFest, and Inside Out.
