Born with a love for cinema, Ludvig set out early for a career in filmmaking. He started out by making documentaries, with his directorial debut being "Pretending I'm a Superman: The Tony Hawk Video Game Story", a film that chronicles the rise and fall of the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater video game franchise, and features many legendary skaters, including Tony Hawk himself. Ludvig then made the leap to fiction. In 2019 he directed the short film "The Outsider", which was an adaptation of a story by legendary horror author H. P. Lovecraft. The film was released by ALTER in the summer of 2020, after having been shown at film festivals worldwide. In 2024, Ludvig made his feature-length directorial debut with "In the Name of God". Starring Swedish household names such as Linus Wahlgren, Thomas Hanzon and Charlie Gustafsson, it is a horror-film that tells the story of a priest on a mission to expand his congregation at any cost. Ludvig’s work has been shown at festivals all over the world and featured in major news outlets, such as Variety, Deadline, The Hollywood Reporter, CBS Sports, and many more.
