Cory Nixon is a Los Angeles-based director, writer, and producer. His work focuses on deconstructing social issues at the intersection of horror and comedy. Cory was most recently celebrated for his short film, Blind, which screened at the 35th Anniversary of NewFest in New York City. As a writer and producer, Cory has also been celebrated for his work on OUTtv's Raw & Real and Off Shoot, an episodic half-hour comedy coming to AppleTV+ and Amazon Prime October 25th. In addition to his film work, Cory is an advocate for black queer voices. As the producer of Peppermint and Bob the Drag Queen's Town Hall: A Black Queer Podcast, Cory enjoys fostering healing conversation for his community.
