Chris W. Mitchell began his career in film as a cleaner at a subtitling firm. In 1993 he made his debut as writer/director with the short film BOOK. 2012 saw the premiere of Chris’s first featurelength screenplay S SKIND, directed by Rudolf van den Berg. FRANKENSTEIN’S ARMY – an English-language feature directed by Richard Raaphorst and written by Chris - premiered at the IFFR 2013 and was subsequently presented at the TriBeCa Film Festival. In 2014 his featurelength debut as writer/director was released to critical acclaim: THE POOL won a Golden Calf at the Netherlands Film Festival for Best Sound Design. Chris also wrote the script for Nick Jongerius’s THE WINDMILL MASSACRE (2016).
