Born and raised in Rome, he began directing commercials, before serving as Pupi Avati’s assistant director for A Second Childhood (2010). In 2015, he directed the short film L'errore, which screened at the Cannes Film Festival. The short won a Silver Ribbon for directing and was nominated for a David di Donatello. In 2021, he directed the campaign for Michael Kors' capsule collection MKC x 007, starring Naomie Harris and Bella Hadid.
