Synopsis
Laced with magic and melancholy and set in the Pacific Northwest, SLUSH follows Frankie as she reunites with her estranged father, Kyle, and a town that's shunned their family for years. SLUSH explores themes of monstrosity and grief as this family confronts their collective traumas together.

Ashley is an award-winning director and producer based in Seattle. Her prior work includes DIABLA, a female revenge horror set in Mexico City, action thriller VOLITION and 90s queer drama SOMETIMES, FOREVER. A proven storyteller in the socially conscious genre space, Ashley is able to build cerebral, character-driven work that creates conversations and pays tribute to underrepresented voices in communities in the United States and around the globe. DIABLA played dozens of Oscar & BAFTA-qualifying festivals such as Cleveland International, Foyle, Norwich, Cine Huesca as well as fright favorites Fantasia, FilmQuest, Final Girls Berlin & more. DIABLA earned awards such as Best Short, Best Director, Best Actress (Ruth Ramos), Best Ensemble Cast, Best Script & Best Cinematography.

As producer, she's recently wrapped production on several films and shows including AMERICAN MORNING with Richard Schiff, ALL HAIL BETH for BRIC TV, MOUTHPIECE featuring Jason Sudeikis, Max Clark's LODESTAR starring James McCaffrey (2020 Nashville Film Festival “Audience Award for Narrative Short”) and Disney+ docu-series GROWING UP with EP Brie Larson and Culture House.

Her work has received over 6M+ views on YouTube and premiered in Times Square. She’s currently developing feature psychological body horror SLUSH (W.T.) set during a wild wedding weekend in rural Washington, as well as BENNY, a family drama based a life-altering car accident her brother survived in the early 2000s.
