Synopsis

As she alters and adjusts her reflection, she loses sight of who she truly is. Beautify is a visually striking animated short that explores the pressures of perfection, the fragility of identity, and the courage it takes to embrace one’s authentic self.

Elizaveta Makarenko studied Computer Animation at Ringling College of Art and Design, where she developed her skills in 2D/3D animation, design, and storytelling. In Summer 2025, she joined Pixar as a TD Sets Dress Intern, collaborating with artists and learning studio-level workflows. She is now a Drone Show Animator at Sky Elements, creating large-scale animated performances that bring stories to the sky. Read less
