Laura Jayne Tunbridge is a BAFTA nominated writer, and a director. Her work includes BAFTA and BIFA nominated Night of the Living Dread; Other Half, which was selected for competition as part of la Cinéfondation at the Cannes Film Festival 2021; and Requiem, starring Bella Ramsey, which was selected for the Cleveland International Film Festival and the Manchester International Film Festival. Laura wrote and directed Dragged Up, starring Gaby French and Donna Air. The short was nominated for Best British Short at the Iris Prize in 2021 and has been broadcast twice on Channel 4. Laura also wrote and directed Girl on Girl, funded by BFI Network, which was selected for BFI Flare 2024. Laura has television projects in various stages of development with companies including Firebird Pictures, See-Saw Films and The Forge Entertainment. She is a writer on upcoming series Sweetpea for Sky starring Ella Purnell. Read less
