Germán Sancho (Madrid, Spain, 10/07/1979) holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication. At the end of his studies, he studied several courses in direction, production and editing. In 2003 he took a Master’s Degree in TV Format Design and Production at the Complutense University of Madrid. His professional career is linked to TVE since 2005 and he has worked as a television producer in many programs and broadcasts. He is currently the director of the second edition of TVE’s Telediario. In 2019 he attended a workshop of high studies in cinematography at the prestigious International Film School of Cuba in San Antonio de los Baños. He teaches filmmaking classes in the Master in Documentary and Transmedia Journalistic Reporting at the Carlos III University of Madrid, at the Master of Filmmaking at the Complutense University of Madrid and in the Master of Journalism at the Rey Juan Carlos University. He has written and directed the short films “Invisible” (2015) and “Miedos” (2018). “Miedos” has been selected and awarded in festivals worldwide and is in the process of development for feature film. “Darkface” (original title “Caraoscura”) is his third short film. Raúl Cerezo (Madrid, Spain, 07/01/1976) is a director, producer and screenwriter. He co-founded production company Eye Slice Pictures with Helion Ramalho, which focuses on fantastic productions. He is a well-known figure in the Spanish short film industry – he has produced more than a hundred films and directed shorts such as “Escarnio” and “8”. The latest was awarded with the Melies d'Argent and the Paul Naschy Award at Sitges International Film Festival, among other recognitions. He is the co-producer and original creator of his first feature-length “The Passenger” (2021), co-directed by him and Fernando González Gómez. The film premiered at Sitges IFF and it was a success across the main fantastic film festivals in Spain. It is currently being distributed internationally and it will be premiered in cinemas in 2022.
