After an incident involving a pothos plant, a frying pan and a flower pot leaves their mother for dead, estranged siblings (Santino Fontana and Sarah Stiles) come back together to figure out what to do with the body in this post-pandemic dark comedy.

Dave Solomon is an award-winning NYC-based writer and director working in both theatre and film.
His award-winning LGBTQ+ horror short, PHOTO OP, starring Randy Harrison, played over twenty film festivals (including Palm Springs International ShortFest and Outfest), and is available on Amazon Prime. His short film, CAVAN (written by Zac Kline) also had a successful festival run, winning awards for performance and direction. He is currently developing his feature film, CHESTERFIELD FALLS, a Halloween-themed ghost story that utilizes authentic Halloween customs and rituals.
Solomon assisted Oscar-winner Bill Condon on DISNEY’S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and MR. HOLMES, starring Ian McKellen and Laura Linney. He also served as Condon’s Associate Director on the stage production of SIDE SHOW that played La Jolla Playhouse, Kennedy Center and Broadway. Solomon has also been an Associate Director to Joe Mantello and Scott Ellis, and has worked on twelve Broadway productions including TOOTSIE, THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD, 9 TO 5, PAL JOEY, SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE, THE RITZ, CURTAINS and ASSASSINS. He was also Scott Ellis’ associate and an Associate Producer on “A CHRISTMAS STORY LIVE” for Fox.
He directed the first national tour of the Broadway musical TOOTSIE, with new material by Tony-winner Robert Horn, and also directed a theatrical-cinematic hybrid production of Adam Gwon’s musical ORDINARY DAYS, featuring new material by Gwon and a production design by Emmy-winner Jason Ardizzone-West (“Jesus Christ Superstar Live”).
His play MARGARET AND CRAIG was seen in workshop at NY Stage and Film and was also part of The New Group’s New Work Series in 2016, starring Mario Cantone and Marin Ireland and directed by Tony-nominated Sheryl Kaller. And he has been developing the new musical PUMP UP THE VOLUME, based on the 1990 film starring Christian Slater, and has directed workshop performances at MTFest in London and at the Winter Garden Theatre in Toronto. He will be directing the upcoming world premiere production in 2024. Other director credits for stage include the Los Angeles world premiere of THE DODGERS (starring Corbin Bleu, Talisa Friedman, Jared Gertner, Asher Grodman, Emma Hunton and Eric Nelsen), YOU’RE GONNA HATE THIS (with Michael Holland and Tony-Winner Lindsay Mendez), SAME TIME, NEXT YEAR (with John Bolton and Eve Plumb) and MARRYING MEG, selected by the NY Times as a highlight of the NY Musical Theatre Festival.
