Moishi is desperately in-love with Ruchela, a young woman whose previous husbands have all died. Moishi runs away from his parents, who are angry at his decision, straight into the hands of Haim the butcher, who turns out to be the devil himself. Haim, the devil, who turns out to be a romantic character, tries to understand why Moishi insists on marrying Ruchela. If Moishi sticks to his decision, Haim will have to kill him.
