Dawson Taylor is a writer and director based in Los Angeles. He grew up in rural Washington state, where much of his childhood was spent romping around the woods with a video camera. Otherkin was was inspired by many sweat-filled nights listening to screaming foxes, and his clearly healthy relationship with his parents. It was written as part of the Village Roadshow Emerging Talent program, and is in development as a feature film. Dawson's films have appeared in festivals world-wide, and his film Vilt Gutt was distributed nationally on PBS. He enjoys escape rooms, true-crime podcasts, and petting the occasional stray cat. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production from Loyola Marymount University. Read less
