Iago de Soto Barcelona, Spain, 1980. After finishing his film studies at ESCAC Barcelona Film School, he directed short films 'Corre'2002 and 'Corre 2'2003. In 2008 released 'Versus', his first full length feature (produced by 24 Mentiras), an independent thriller premiered at Sitges International Film Festival which had a long haul in festivals around the world. Since then he has been working as advertising director, currently exclusively for Atresmedia. His short film 'The Den' 2018, also premiered at Sitges IFF, was his comeback to fiction, with a tour of more than 150 international selections, more than 50 awards and the candidacy for the 2020 Goya Awards. 'The Light' is his fifth short film as a director.
